Il a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;Ecole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure de Beaux-Arts (Ensba), Lyon et \u00e0 la Wei\u00dfensee Kunsthochschule de Berlin. Il est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par Marcelle Alix, Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Il d\u00e9veloppe des ensembles de sculptures, \u00e0 la fois conceptuels et f\u00e9tichistes. Souvent, il les montre en invitant d\u2019autres personnes que lui \u00e0 prendre en charge leur exposition et accepte alors une certaine perte de contr\u00f4le sur les d\u00e9viations potentielles que ces complicit\u00e9s engendrent.<br \/>\nDepuis 2011, quand il \u00e9tait r\u00e9sident \u00e0 la Rijksakademie \u00e0 Amsterdam, J.-C. de Quillacq travaille la r\u00e9sine epoxy qu\u2019il malaxe inlassablement comme une \u00ab mati\u00e8re psychique \u00bb. Il y incorpore d\u2019autres substances comme de la nicotine, de l\u2019urine, du viagra ou peut y souffler de l\u2019encre bleue de stylos-billes. Cet astreignant travail de la bouche souligne l\u2019importance de l\u2019aspect performatif et de l\u2019oralit\u00e9 dans sa pratique, donnant lieu \u00e0 plusieurs performances en 2018,\u00a0<em>Le Rempla\u00e7ant<\/em>\u00a0et\u00a0<em>L\u2019Imitation par les larmes\u00a0<\/em>aux ateliers de Rennes \u2013 biennale d\u2019art contemporain,\u00a0<em>Faire Elle\u00a0<\/em>\u00e0 Triangle France\u00a0(cur. Lotte Arndt et Marie de Gaulejac) ou en 2016 au Palais de Tokyo,\u00a0<em>Fraternit\u00e9 Passivit\u00e9 Bienvenue\u00a0<\/em>(cur. J.-C. Arcos et Vittoria Matarrese).<br \/>\nQuillacq a par ailleurs particip\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs expositions collectives, dont\u00a0<em>Humainnonhumain,\u00a0<\/em>\u00e0 la Fondation d\u2019entreprise Ricard (cur. Anne Bonnin, 2014),\u00a0<em>L\u2019Apr\u00e8s-midi,\u00a0<\/em>\u00e0 la Villa Arson qui lui a consacr\u00e9 un court ouvrage monographique (<em>Mes mains dans tes chaussures<\/em>, 2015),\u00a0<em>\u00c0 Cris Ouverts,\u00a0<\/em>biennale d\u2019art contemporain de Rennes (cur. Etienne Bernard et C\u00e9line Kopp, 2018) et\u00a0<em>Futur, ancien, fugitif\u00a0<\/em>au Palais de Tokyo\u00a0(cur. Franck Balland, Daria de Beauvais, Ad\u00e9la\u00efde Blanc et Claire Moul\u00e8ne, 2019).<\/p>\n<p>Son travail a \u00e9galement fait l\u2019objet d\u2019expositions personnelles dont\u00a0<em>Ma syst\u00e8me reproductive<\/em>\u00a0\u00e0 B\u00e9tonsalon (cur. M\u00e9lanie Bouteloup et Lucas Morin, 2019),\u00a0<em>La Langue de ma bouche, My Tongue Does This To Me,<\/em>\u00a0avec Hedwig Houben, \u00e0 La Galerie, Centre d\u2019art contemporain de Noisy-le-Sec (cur.
