Poursuivant des questions en rapport avec la race, le transitionnisme post-apartheid, la post-colonialit\u00e9, la mobilit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;effacement, Mo Laudi exp\u00e9rimente le son comme mat\u00e9riau. Il cr\u00e9e des paysages sonores, m\u00e9langeant voix, textures et rythmes comme une critique sociopolitique de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9<br \/>\nEn \u00e9tudiant les formes et les mat\u00e9riaux, \u00e0 travers la peinture, le collage, la sculpture, les installations et la vid\u00e9o, il se concentre sur la d\u00e9construction de l&rsquo;avenir noir, des syst\u00e8mes de connaissance et de la spiritualit\u00e9 africaine, pour former de nouvelles voies de compr\u00e9hension des multiplicit\u00e9s de cultures. Exp\u00e9rimentant avec les performances, la mode, la danse et le design, initialement inform\u00e9 par Achille Mbembe, Fred Moten et d&rsquo;innombrables \u00e9coles de pens\u00e9e divergentes, il a con\u00e7u Globalisto.<\/p>\n<p>Mo Laudi s&rsquo;appuie sur son exp\u00e9rience dans le domaine de la musique pour d\u00e9velopper des installations sonores multicouches sp\u00e9cialement command\u00e9es pour des expositions et des festivals tels que celui d&rsquo;Ernest Mancoba. I Shall Dance in a Different Society, Centre Pompidou, Paris (2019), OORtreders, Belgique (2020), Biennale de Casablanca, Maroc (2022). Cette ann\u00e9e, son exposition en collaboration avec Charlotte Moth, a lieu \u00e0 art3 \u00e0 Valence, il travaille avec Becky Beh sur un projet pour La Clairi\u00e8re d&rsquo;Eza Boto, Jardin des plantes, Rouen, sa premi\u00e8re exposition personnelle aura lieu \u00e0 Apartment au Cap et il est commissaire du Salon Globalisto \u00e0 la Galerie Bonne esp\u00e9rance \u00e0 Paris en mai. En 2020, une r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 la Fondation Martell \u00e0 Cognac a \u00e9t\u00e9 le point de d\u00e9part de son projet I Love Black People.<\/p>\n<p>Multidisciplinary artist, composer, DJ and producer Mo Laudi is renowned for his key contributions to Afro-Electronic music in London during the first decade of the millennium and, since then, in Paris. Pursuing questions in relation to race, post-apartheid transitionalism, post-coloniality, mobility and erasure, Mo Laudi experiments with sound as material. He creates sonic landscapes, mixing vocals, textures and rhythms as a socio-political critique of society<br \/>\nInvestigating forms and materials, through painting, collage, sculpture, installations and video, he focuses on deconstructing black futurity, African knowledge systems and spirituality, to form new pathways of understanding multiplicities of cultures. Experimenting with performances, fashion, dance and design, initially informed by Achille Mbembe, Fred Moten and countless divergent schools of thoughts,he conceived Globalisto.<\/p>\n<p>Mo Laudi draws on his experience in the music sphere to develop multilayered sound installations specially commissioned for exhibitions and festivals such as\u00a0Ernest Mancoba. I Shall Dance in a Different Society, Centre Pompidou, Paris (2019),\u00a0OORtreders, Belgium (2020), Casablanca Biennale, Morocco (2022).
